Do you study and/or work for money? Or do you study and/or work to become so valuable that you ultimately glorify God through your occupation? In this introductory teaching in the Economics, Money, and Wealth series, we explore what I call True Economic Value. This is the foundation needed to build our financial and professional lives upon.

In discussions on the topic of salvation, the question is sometimes raised: “What happened to the Gentiles who lived before Jesus Christ or everyone who lived after, who died having never heard the gospel?” Here is my answer to that question.

The first chapter of Daniel reveals a pattern for preparing one's life to glorify God. This teaching examines the underlying components of (1) resolving to obey God, (2) acting by faith, and then (3) receiving Spiritual gifts from God. Daniel's experience in Babylon also provides a great deal of insight for parents raising Christian youth today. This is part 1 of a 2 part segment. 

The night before Jesus went to the cross, He explained to His disciples three important things that the soon-coming Spirit of truth would do in their lives. As we examine each, we will see how the Spirit reveals God's pathway for each of our lives.

 

 

 

The first several chapters of 1 Samuel provide a relevant picture of the Western church in the year 2016. These Scriptures also reveal an important pattern of how God brings positive change amongst His people in any era.

Do you think that if Jesus told His disciples something six times in one night that it was important? You bet. As we examine these six times we discover God's simple design for prayer. 

Concerning a Roman centurion, Jesus once declared: with no one in Israel have I found such faith." This was quite a statement. We must understand why He said this. As we dig deeper, we discover a powerful relationship between humility and faith.
